HYBRID SURFACE GEOMETRY

Steel for Browning. ConnectedCoating for Release. ShallowChannels for Oil.

Flybee's etched pattern balances exposed stainless steel, protected ceramic nonstick, and shallow oil-holding channels.

① Raised Steel for Searing
The raised stainless steel makes direct contact with food for better browning and helps shield the recessed coating from utensils.

② Connected Coating for Day-One Release
More connected ceramic-coated areas create a smoother, more consistent release surface from the first cook.

③ Shallow Channels Keep Oil in Place
The etched channels keep a thin film of oil spread across thepan. With regular use and light seasoning, that oil continues tosupport food release over time, so performance does notdepend on the coating alone.

The Science, at a Glance

PPG FUSION® EDGE CERAMIC NONSTICK

Protected Below the Raised Steel

Flybee uses PPG FUSION® EDGE, a ceramic nonstick system developed for etched stainless-steel cookware.

The coating sits within the recessed areas of the pattern, while the raised steel takes more of the direct utensil contact. This helps reduce wear, maintain food release, and make cleanup easier.

Made without PFAS, including PTFE and PFOA.

2.8 MM, FULLY CLAD FROM BASE TO RIM
More Stable Heat Across the Pan

Flybee’s 2.8 mm tri-ply body combines a heat-conductive aluminum core with durable stainless steel inside and out.

The added thermal mass helps the pan hold its temperature when cold food is added and spreads heat more evenly across the cooking surface.

Fewer concentrated hot spots mean more consistent browning and less risk of scorched oil, excess smoke, or localized heat discoloration.

Compatible with gas, electric, ceramic, and induction cooktops.

ETCHED STAINLESS-STEEL EXTERIOR
Fewer Visible Oil Marks

Flybee’s shallow exterior etching breaks up the appearance of fingerprints, grease smears, and oil marks that stand out on polished stainless steel.

The texture remains low-profile, so it is easy to wipe clean and less likely to trap residue. The patterned base also adds subtle grip on smooth glass and induction cooktops.

DOUBLE-SIDED ETCHING
A Flatter, More Stable Base

Flybee pairs controlled etching on both sides with a rigid 2.8 mm fully clad body.

This balanced construction helps the base resist distortion through repeated heating and cooling, maintaining flatter, more stable contact with the cooktop.

EVERYDAY DURABILITY
Raised Steel Helps Protect the Coating

The raised steel helps protect the recessed coating, the 2.8 mm body adds rigidity, and the etched exterior makes everyday wear less visible.

The same pan can handle eggs, grilled cheese, fried rice, pan sauces, and high-heat searing without requiring delicate handling or a complicated care routine.

HANDLE AND WEIGHT BALANCE
Stable on the Cooktop. Easier to Control.

The 2.8 mm body gives the pan enough weight to stay planted on the burner, while the handle length, angle, and weight distribution keep it comfortable to lift and control.

The securely riveted stainless-steel handle keeps your hand farther from the pan body and is designed to stay cooler during stovetop cooking.

Stainless-steel handles can become hot near an open flame and will become hot in the oven. Use appropriate hand protection.
