CARE & USE

CARE & USE

Get the Best from Your Flybee

FIRST USE

Before Your First Cook

A few simple steps will help prepare your Flybee for reliable everyday performance.

1

WASH

Wash the cookware with warm, soapy water. Rinse well and dry thoroughly.

2

OIL

Add a small amount of neutral cooking oil to the cool pan. Use a paper towel or soft brush to spread the oil into a thin, even layer.

3

WARM

Place the pan over low heat for 2–3 minutes. Do not let the oil smoke.

4

COOL & WIPE

Turn off the heat and allow the pan to cool completely. Wipe away any excess oil before cooking or storing the pan.

HEAT & COOKING

Start Low. Adjust as Needed.

Flybee’s fully clad tri-ply construction heats quickly and evenly. Start with low to medium heat, and increase the temperature only when the recipe calls for it.

LOW

LOW HEAT

Best for eggs, crepes, delicate fish, and gentle reheating.

MED

MEDIUM HEAT

Best for vegetables, pancakes, everyday frying, and browning.

01

PREHEAT GENTLY

Warm the pan gradually over low to medium heat for 1–2 minutes before adding oil or food. Never preheat an empty pan over high heat.

02

USE A LITTLE OIL

A small amount of oil or butter helps food release more easily and promotes even browning.

03

GIVE FOOD TIME TO RELEASE

Food will often release naturally once it has browned. If it sticks when you try to flip it, wait a few more seconds and try again.

04

SKIP AEROSOL SPRAYS

Aerosol cooking sprays can leave a sticky buildup that becomes harder to remove over time. Use a small amount of regular cooking oil instead.

CLEANING & CARE

Clean Gently. Keep It Performing.

Allow the pan to cool before washing. Clean it with warm water, mild dish soap, and a soft sponge or brush. Rinse well and dry thoroughly.

01

HAND-WASH WHEN POSSIBLE

Flybee cookware is dishwasher safe, but hand-washing is the best way to preserve its finish and everyday performance.

02

AVOID THERMAL SHOCK

Never place a hot pan under cold water. Allow it to cool first to protect the cookware from sudden temperature changes.

03

DRY THOROUGHLY

Dry the cookware after washing to help prevent water spots and keep the stainless-steel finish looking its best.

FOR STUBBORN OR BURNT-ON RESIDUE

Remove Built-Up Residue Gently

  1. 1

Add enough water to cover the affected area.

  2. 2

Add 1–2 tablespoons of baking soda.

  3. 3

Bring the water to a gentle simmer and let it simmer for 5–10 minutes.

  4. 4

Turn off the heat and allow the pan to cool until it is safe to handle.

  5. 5

Wash gently with a soft sponge or non-abrasive brush.

Avoid Prolonged Empty Heating +

Never preheat an empty pan over high heat. If oil or food begins to smoke, turn off the heat and ventilate the area.

TROUBLESHOOTING

Why is food sticking? +

Food may stick if the pan is too hot, there is not enough oil, the food is flipped too soon, or residue has built up on the cooking surface. Allow the pan to cool, clean it thoroughly, and re-season it lightly if needed. For everyday cooking, start with low to medium heat and add a small amount of oil or butter.

How do I remove burnt-on food? +

Add enough water to cover the affected area, then add 1–2 tablespoons of baking soda. Simmer gently for 5–10 minutes. Allow the pan to cool until it is safe to handle, then clean it with a soft sponge or non-abrasive brush.

Why is my induction cooktop buzzing? +

A light hum or buzz can be normal when using cookware on an induction cooktop. Center the pan over an appropriately sized cooking zone. If the sound is unusually loud, make sure the pan is sitting flat and that the cooking zone is close in size to the base of the pan.

How can I help prevent warping? +

Avoid heating an empty pan over high heat, and never place hot cookware under cold water. Whenever possible, match the burner or induction zone to the flat base of the cookware.

Can I use metal utensils? +

Yes. Flybee’s raised stainless-steel cooking surface is metal-utensil friendly. Silicone or wooden utensils are also excellent choices and can help keep the cookware looking its best.

Is Flybee cookware dishwasher safe? +

Yes. Flybee cookware is dishwasher safe, but hand-washing is recommended to help preserve its finish and everyday performance.

Do I need to season my Flybee after every use? +

No. There is no need to season the cookware after every use or on a fixed schedule. Re-season it only when food release begins to decline or after a deep clean.
